Document Guo Fa〔2026〕No.14 officially releases the 14th Five-Year Plan for Accelerating Agricultural and Rural Modernization. It defines the overall development goals for agricultural and rural modernization from 2026 to 2030, and puts forward systematic arrangements covering nine major sectors: food security, smart agriculture, protected agriculture, seed industry revitalization, livable and beautiful villages, and agriculture-supporting policies. The plan brings major policy dividends to sectors including protected agriculture, plant factories and digital smart agriculture.

Opening on July 15, GPEC 2026 runs for three days. Bringing together 200 industrial exhibitors and 45,000 professional visitors, it is the core professional exhibition for protected horticulture and plant factory sectors in Japan.
