Rooted in the comprehensive advancement of the rural revitalization strategy and focusing on the core demands of agricultural modernization, a host of targeted and precise support policies have been rolled out to inject robust momentum into the steady development of the agricultural sector.

Centering on four core areas — food security guarantee, agricultural industrial upgrading, green ecological development and agricultural technology empowerment, the current round of policies covers the entire industrial chain of agricultural production. The policies explicitly scale up support for the development of modern agricultural industrial parks, strong agricultural towns and advantageous characteristic industrial clusters. They offer key support to leading agricultural industrialization enterprises, encourage such enterprises to build platforms linking farmers, foster industrial consortia, extend agricultural industrial chains and boost value chains.

Meanwhile, in response to the demands for high-quality agricultural development, the policies increase subsidies and financial inclinations for sectors including the promotion of green agricultural materials, intensive processing of agricultural products, and innovations in smart agriculture. They guide agricultural production to shift toward intensification, standardization and branding, break through bottlenecks restraining traditional agricultural development, and help agriculture achieve higher output, better quality, lower costs and reduced resource consumption.
